Student Art Competition Judge:  Alexandra Odell
Melissa Yungbluth

After moving to California, Alexandra was on the board of the first Children’s Museum. One of the first fundraisers was an art sale where the children had done copies of the great masters. It was a hugely successful art auction. Each child got to keep 10% of the sale. “I worked in the summer art program for the GATE high school. I then got a grant for Eagle Mountain School when middle and high were together in a small school. I entered many of my students in various art competitions, they never failed to place.”

While involved in a student scholarship fund called M.A.G.N.E.T., a group for any age, Alexandra was also a judge at juried art competitions, carefully meeting all stipulated requirements. This varied and extensive experience makes Alexandra ODell an excellent choice for our Melbourne Art Festival Student Art Competition judge.
Artwork will be grouped into NINE categories for judging:
7th & 8th Grades
Graphic Art
High School 9th -12th Grades
